My wonderful father, Al Mokry, was just 18 when he moved to Las Vegas. He was looking for bright lights and action that never stopped -- he found it. It was 1960, and the Sands Hotel was the place to be: swimming pools and movie stars, politicians and gangsters. They could all be seen at the Sands. The original Ocean's Eleven was premiering, the "Rat Pack" was in full swing and Wayne Newton sang in the hotel lounge. Al would never forget those fabulous Las Vegas days, and after returning to Dallas, he channeled the drama and energy that is the Las Vegas experience into a brand new company which he founded with the help of his wife, Kaye: "The Arrangers", Texas' 1st casino party company.

More than thirty-five years later — and 10,000 + parties! — The Arrangers is still arranging... still delivering the thrill of Las Vegas-style gaming and full party-planning services to fun-loving people everywhere, with craps, blackjack, Texas Hold'em, roulette, slots and quality dealers.

And, The Arrangers is still family-owned and run. These days, it is run by me, Danna (Al and Kaye's youngest daughter). With help from my husband, Travis Bowman, we have grown and led The Arrangers in new directions, to better serve businesses, schools and organizations achieve their fundraising goals and entertain their colleagues.

We consider it a tremendous privilege to be a part of the legacy my mother and father PIONEERED so many years ago! Thanks mom and dad, for showing us how to HAVE FUN and throw a great party!!!!!
